Developing and maintaining services for the newly diagnosed, survivors, and their families is an ongoing challenge which we meet in a variety of ways. We believe that only through understanding the disease are families able to make informed decisions about treatment. Our website, our Booklet for Patients and other publications offer complete and understandable information about prostate cancer.

One of our most effective services is simply maintaining an office to respond to people’s questions. We receive hundreds of calls every year from men and women who have learned that prostate cancer has touched their lives. The importance of a having a survivor calmly answer questions cannot be overestimated.
