Active Surveillance (ASURE.ca)
Dr. Laurence Klotz and Dr. Andrew Loblaw began this website in conjunction with their work at Sunnybrook Hospital in the area of active surveillance as an option for men diagnosed with favourable-risk, localized prostate cancer. The website provides information on active surveillance and very useful PSA assessment tools. These tools calculate PSA kinetics over time, including PSA doubling time and velocity, and compare PSA results in an individual patient (corrected for baseline PSA, Gleason score, and age) to the large cohort of patients on active surveillance at Sunnybrook.

EPCDO’s goals are to tell people about the value of early
